You may put kiddush on by yourself, or shop and hire someone to prep and serve, or hire a caterer. Just email kiddush@cbiberkeley.org to discuss the various options available to you.   1. DIY  Kiddush: Approx. $350-$400 (for basic kiddush)
    Sponsor is in charge of shopping, set-up/clean up, soliciting and collecting funds. Sponsor is encouraged to reach out to friends and community members to help put on the kiddush.

    Kiddush should include: crackers, chips, dips, fruit, veg, cookies, ice cream and non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, iced tea/water/seltzer.
    Specialty items like fish/cheeses/birthday cakes, alcohol would add to the total cost.
    CBI provides compostable paper goods and disposable table cloths for kiddushim.

    II. Instacart Kiddush: $400+
    CBI has a standing order with Instacart that can be ordered and delivered directly to shul.

    Sponsor is in charge of set-up/clean up, soliciting and collecting funds.
    Sponsor is encouraged to reach out to friends and community members to help put on the kiddush.

    Instacart Kiddush includes crackers, chips, dips, fruit, veg, cookies, ice cream and non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, iced tea/water/seltzer.
    Specialty items like fish/cheeses/birthday cakes, alcohol are extra add-ons, priced on request.

CBI provides compostable paper goods and disposable table cloths for kiddushim.

III. Catered Kiddush: $1000 and up

CBI provides compostable paper goods and disposable table cloths for kiddushim. Linens available on request, and are the responsibility of caterer/sponsor to launder and return to CBI.
