*Note: Before a two-day Yom Tov, it is advisable to light a 24-hour/yahrzeit candle so that on the second evening the candles may be lit by transferring the flame from this pre-existing flame. Eating on the first two nights of Sukkot a minimum of a portion of bread and reciting the kiddush in the sukkah is a biblically ordained commandment. If you do not have access to a sukkah, and wish to perform this mitzvah, please contact the CBI office ASAP or join CBI’s Sukkah Meal on the first night. (If you have a space in your sukkah for guests, kindly let the office know.)
Throughout the 7 days of Sukkot please avail yourselves of the CBI sukkah.
As always, no home cooked food may be brought into the CBI kitchen, but the sukkah is open to all.
