Sholom Brodt is a Judaic studies teacher and storyteller. Sholom was educated at the Chabad yeshiva in Montreal, and at other yeshivot in Toronto and Jerusalem.
Sholom has been working in formal and informal Jewish education for thirty years.He is committed to working for the unity of the Jewish people by providing high quality Jewish education. Believing that it is vital that we interact and study Torah together, that we share and celebrate together, and that we truly learn how to live together as one people, Sholom visits and teaches across North America in communities of all denominations.
Open Sources: A Beit Midrash is a welcoming space for adults and teens to gather for Jewish learning guided by rabbis and master teachers.
● Learn independently, with a hevruta (study partner)
● Study the weekly Torah portion with Maharat Victoria Sutton, and guest lecturers from Kevah’s outstanding Bay Area educators
● Learners of all levels welcome, no Hebrew required
● Members and non-members welcome
When: Thursdays, 8:00-10:00 pm
